NIH Updates Grants Submission Client Using ebXML
The National Institutes of Health has upgraded its client for electronically
checking grant information by way of using the Electronic Business
Extensible Markup Language (ebXML). The NIH Office of Extramural Research upgraded the client, which is designed to allow external systems interact with NIH's eReceipts Exchange servers through a Web service interface.

The OASIS ebXML Messaging Services TC has recently approved the following specification as a Committee Draft and approved the package for public review:
OASIS ebXML Messaging Services Version 3.0: Part 1, Core Features
The public review starts today, 2 May 2007, and ends 17 May 2007. This specification was previously submitted for a 60-day public review on 12 May 2006 [1]; this 15-day review is limited in scope to changes made from the previous review.
