First Drummond Certified AS4 Interoperability Test Event Completed

OASIS ebXML Messaging Services TC publishes SAML Conformance Clause for AS4/ebMS3 V1.0 as a Committee Specification.

This Committee Specification states how an ebMS3/AS4 MSH can support SAML in addition to the username/password and X.509 token profiles of WS-Security for authentication. While the usage of the username/password and X.509 tokenprofiles of WS-Security are defined in some detail in ebMS3 and AS4, SAML is not defined in detail in ebMS3 and not discussed at all in AS4. This document defines the use of SAML in ebMS3 and applies that to the scenarios addressed by AS4.

ENTSOG publishes draft AS4 usage profile

The draft Network Code on Interoperability and Data Exchange Rules for European Gas Transmission Networks delivered to the European Commission (EC) on 11 September 2013 specifies that “AS4 shall be used as common data exchange protocol for document based data exchanges”. A usage profile has been posted  which defines an ENTSOG AS4 Profile that aims to support cross-enterprise collaboration in the gas sector using secure and reliable exchange of business documents based on the AS4 standard.
