IBM announces AS4 support in new IBM Multi-Enterprise Integration Gateway V1.0 product
AS4 for B2B using Web Services
AS4: The simple formula for better B2B
B2B IntegrationB2B standards have been around for decades and are constantly evolving. As B2B standards have advanced, many organizations moved from EDI to EDIINT. As service-orientation become a key architectural principal, web services became a the recommended way for organizations to interact (API’s notwithstanding). The ebXML Messaging Services (ebMS) standard provided a path for organizations to exchange B2B documents using web services.
Sending ebMS 3.0 UserMessage to multiple destinations (multicast pattern)
Hello everybody,
I am rather new to ebMS and ebXML, but I'm looking if it can be used to work out a project of us. One of the patterns we have to support is to have MessageProducers sending a message that needs to be routed by the MSH to one or more MessageReceivers (something like a multicast).
Ponton implements AS4 as an extension to Ponton X/P
AS4 is a quite recent standard for that message-based transfer of business documents. AS4 is based on both, Web Service technology and ebMS 3.0 – the successor of the “ebXML Messaging Service 2.0” which has been implemented by Ponton already in 2003. Ponton’s over 200 users world-wide use Ponton X/P to transfer up to 100.000s electronic documents daily at a high rate with a message size of up to 500 MB, running in a high-availability environment.
