Rechartered OASIS Business Document Exchange TC has been kicked off

The OASIS non-profit consortium recently announced an expanded charter for its Business Document Exchange (BDX) Technical Committee and issued a Call for Participation to all those involved in this market, both public and private sector: agencies, enterprises, solution providers, consultants and researchers. E-payment actors including financial institutions, associations and payment networks are invited take part in defining an open standards framework to support the largest public e-procurement and e-invoicing initiative in the world.

Scenario for the Convergence of European Large Scale e-Government Project e-Delivery solutions

From the abstract:

The main goal of this document is to describe how e-Delivery platforms of existing Large Scale Pilots (PEPPOL, SPOCS and STORK) can converge towards a single solution, which is suitable for them as well as for the new LSP e-Codex. As underlined by the European Commission the acceptance and the support coming from the industry is a very important success factor. Therefore such a e-Delivery solution should also include industry standards like ebXML in the area of B2B and ETSI REM.

Primus Australia certified for NBN Co B2B interoperability

Primus Australia has announced it is the first retail service provider (RSP) to receive business-to-business (B2B) interoperability certification from NBN Co. [..] NBN Co employs ebXML for its gateway, which enabled Primus to develop its solution in-house, the RSP said.
