IBM Datapower XB60 support for ebXML v2.0

IBM have announced availability of the following enhancements for their DataPower devices. The DataPower device provides firmware accelerated handling of XML and xslt along with secure communications, routing and certificate management. Flexible XML Validation Framework using OASIS CAM approach

An approach for XML Validation using OASIS Content Assembly Mechanism (CAM) templates to support a wide array of complex message exchanges with business partners using B2B or B2C business patterns. The CAM templates simplify and externalize the validation rules while allowing the gateway to act as a pass-through on information that is not directly relevant.

Use of ebXML in Portuguese footwear industry

A short case study has been published of a deployment of the eBIZ architecture for the textile, clothing and footwear industries. This deployment uses ebXML Messaging based on the Hermes open source product.
